Nekselø and SejerøSejerø and Nekselø are obvious tour suggestions for the whole family - and the ferries sail from Havnsø. Nekselø is called Denmark's most beautiful island, to be enjoyed on foot and with the packed lunch in the backpack, while the bike is really good at Sejerø. Lots of nature and experiences.

Summerland ZealandList Item 2
Sommerland Sjælland er en forlystelsespark på Nordvestsjælland, der primært henvender sig til børnefamilier med børn op til 13 år.

Kaldred Catch and Release
Visit one of Denmark's best catch and rel lakes at Kaldred just across the Vesterlyngen. A super suitable destination if you take the whole family on the hook, good introduction to beginners and lots of fish to catch. You can buy your fishing license at the reception of the campsite with a nice discount !!

Birkegårdens HaverList Item 3Birkegårdens Haver consists of 5 different gardens; An English garden with amazing flowers, a prairie with grasses and drought-resistant flowers, the abbey garden with all kinds of herbs, the Japanese garden with a focus on immersion and meditation, where you can wander around the two lakes and view the many brilliant details and not least the artist garden with exhibitions. Besides all this, Birkegårdens Haver also offers a large oak forest, domestic animals in animal folds, playgrounds with mini golf and petanque, shop with gift items and a café.

Animal high VineyardList Item 4
Visit Denmark's largest vineyard and experience Danish wine. The vineyard covers an area of approx. 7 hectares and is planted with approx. 23,000 vines at Røsnæs near Kalundborg. Of these, 200 are vines on table grapes, while the rest are used for wine making.
The vineyard has been awarded a trophy for the Vineyard of the Year and 7 other trophies and 4 medals at Danske Vingaard's annual competition for business wine growers.

Fishing opportunities Kalundborg & Odsherred
If you are a beginner or a experienced angler, there is ample opportunity to get out in your waders or boat around Vesterlyng Camping. Heading north in Odsherred there are plenty of good fishing spots and you can alos go south along the coast of Kalundborg. If you prefer fishing in the lake, not far to Kaldred Catch and Release - get more information at the reception! Odsherred Zoo Rescue
Oasis on 14 acres of land in the middle of beautiful Northwest Zealand, where you come close to 600 exotic animals spread over 100 species in Denmark's first zoo and travel center. As something special, the park also offers a safe and permanent home for exotic animals who have been through hardships in their lives. Experience Denmark's largest collection of South American monkeys, for example. in the tropical house PARANÂ with monkeys, birds and reptiles from South America. And in the "Apeskoven", dead-headed apes and white-eared silk-worms live freely in a large plant without fences. Out in the park, camels, zebras, ostriches, kangaroos, emuas, llamas and other animals walk around in great lovely fields.

Viking castle TrelleborgTrelleborg is a Viking town dating back to 980. The castle is provided with a promontory where 135 burial sites have been found. None of the other castles from the Viking Age have any traces of a veil. Trelleborg contains 16 longhouses, 4 in each part of the castle. In addition, there are traces of 15 longhouses outside the violence. In the season, the museum offers a wealth of shows and activities, where you can try your hand at the many different activities of the Vikings.
